Hi, need an older prop for a minn kota 65. 3/8" diameter shaft and is held on by a cotter pin that goes through the side. Thanks in advance.

i have two different used props for minn-kota's. one is part number 206-1125. this is written on the inside of the prop. i belive this prop is for some of the 65 series model. it does have the 3/8th inch shaft to the best of my measurements. i also have part #209-1150. that also has a 3/8th inch shaft, but the prop is about 2 inchs longer. if any of these will work let me know. i also have one that is part number 209-1140 but it has a bigger hole about 7/16th? if anyone can use any of these let me know.

Thanks for replying Dave. Not familiar with the part numbers, but I have a feeling that aren't the one I'm looking for. Are the props you have held on by a nut or do they have a nole in the side were a cotter pin slides through the prop and shaft? Thanks.

lunker: after i re-read your post i believe your right. mine fit over the shaft and then go up against a pin? on the shaft which keeps the prop tight to the shaft then a screw holds the whole thing together. i think your's is different. i saw cotter pin written and only thought about the way these fit unto the shaft. sorry i didn't read the post better. dave
