I have a Direcway/Hughesnet Satellite Dish and modem for satellite internet. It has to be professionally installed, but if you are looking to upgrade from dailup and can't get DSL it is a good option. The hardware is somewhere between 250 and 500 and you have to sign a contract to get that price otherwise the hardware is around 1000. You can have mine for free just come pick it up. We can even pull the cables off my house to save the money for new cables is you want. lvwf@wildblue.net

I was thinking about mounting it to my chicken coop just for the funny value but it is too expensive to just trash.
I live in SE Wisconsin, and if I am heading somewhere and you are on the way would drop it off.
