What does the typical late fall/winter schedule that most pros keep as far as fishing? It seems that many of you have speaking engagements etc. Do many of you fish until ice-up or are you "fished-out" after a long tournament season? Does anyone travel to fish and become familiar with waters that will be fished in the coming year's schedule? Sorry for somany questions.
Thanks, Tim |

I fish until the water gets hard, usually around mid december here on Lake St. Clair, Mi. Then I take a break for the holidays to be with family. The fall is my fun time to fish, with friends and family that I havn't seen much during the year. It is also time to practice presentations etc. and visit Lake Erie for some fall hawgs. When the weather is bad I go duck hunting instead of fishing. January begins boat show time and seminar time through to February. Traveling to locations to fish waters for next year won't fit into my budget or I may do that. March is time to get ready for the Detroit River tournaments and the last seminars.

I return home to Kansas and spend time with my family. I do a lot of fishing at a local lake that does not freeze over due to the power plant. I also like to get involved with sports shows and other events. I try to get in a little hunting. I also work as a carpenter in order to supplement my wages. But I can tell you I never get bored with fishing. It is my life!!
