I went and did Pro-am fishing tournaments first. Then I fished local tounaments. I fished only 1 PWT tournament this year to get my feet wet. Fishing Pro Tournaments are alot harder than people think. I hope this leads you in the right direction. Robert Brady #313

Your "sinmple" question does NOT have a simple answer.
A GREAT way to learn what the pro fishing game is all about is to attend the NPAA conference Sept. 20-23rd this fall. In short....money(sponsors), time, and above all...way more physical and mental work than you most likely have ever dreamed of exerting. Both on and off the water. Promotionally as well as fishing related.

As has been suggested....fish the am side of the major circuits first, then you'll see how much work and focus it takes to do well....from all aspects of the game. If you are confident it is worth the work and monetary investment...go for it! See ya on the "Trail".
