Looks for a good tourney. A tough bite for larger fish but a few are doing pretty awesome. Expect some nice weghts from the leaders.

Well, there off to a good start this morning...Everyone was in good spirits and looking forward to a good tournament. :raisin:

The winds are expected out of the West 9-18mph with gusts to 28, along with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures. A nice day for walleye fishing on Devils Lake!

Some of the teams felt the weights would be good, while others didn't think the bite was all that great, and weights would be less than normal. Today's weigh in, which starts at 3:30, will tell us what the true story is.

No one would tell me what techniques or presentations they were planning on using yet(they'll tell me Friday, they said), so stay tuned for further info...;)

Scott should have the morning pics on the Live Leaderboard soon.

NAW,

Scott Larson and Hans are hot off of a win 2 weeks ago with REALLY decent weight. 2 days just under 50lbs.

I guess the same this week, weights around 48# for the 2 days. Mix of lead, deep cranks, and slip bobbering should be the ticket.

Team Grismer and Beitelspacher, of Souix Falls, SD, have taken the lead the first day with a weight of 23.74 pounds.
Second place belongs to the team of Enge and Scott Dressler with 23.37 pounds.
Rounding out third place is Hans Halverson and Scott Larson with another large sack of 5 fish weighing in at 21.49 pounds!

Photos are uploading to Scott right now... and you can find a day one story online later tonight, by clicking on the Live Leaderboard link in the top left corner of this page.

Default Day Two

Weather in Devils Lake, ND:
Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Northwest wind between 8 and 13 mph.

The 54 Pro Teams that went out this morning, will be cut to the top 13 teams at the end of today's weigh in.
The 13 teams that put two good days together will be rewarded by moving on to fish tomorrow. They will all start with a zero weight again, where it becomes anyone's title to win!

Are there technical difficulties with the live leaderboard for day two? Yesterday over half the field was up on the board by this time.
