2008 NTC Lake Oahe June 13-14

Heads up, the Indian Creek Campground is in the park where the Bridge City Marina is located. The campgrounds are nice, there is a bait shop at the marina (which rents cabins but is full) and the take off for the PWT event was from that launch in 2006. The launches are pretty nice and just minutes from the campground. With the water level being low, don't know how many of the launches on Oahe will be in service.

The launch at indian creek was open this last year and as long as the water stays at the same level it should be good to go next year. The casino has a ramp to, those are the only ones in mobrigde that were usable last year. I live in mobridge so any questions i can probally help out.

Boat, I have a question for ya! Can you let us in on what we should expect the fishing to be like? What kind of rigs is the norm? Whats the odds of catching a big ol pig or two? Thanks Jim

Where would you suggest a family of 4 stay ( no casino necessary )and is there enough to entertain wife and daughter while son and I fish. Thanks for the help

That time of year the fish will be going crazy. Last year you could get them on cranks or live bait. I like pulling cranks seems like you get bigger fish. What are the boundries? One day last june we got 3 6 pound fish and 1 8.75 pounder that is on my friends wall. That was the best day i have ever had.

There is a pool in town here that they could go to. Also a frisbe golf course some parks with playgrounds.

with the family i would stay at the wrangler they have a indoor pool so the kids could swin there. They also have a nice restraunt there so that is convienet. I would call soon i can see that one filling up soon. Also the kountry kabins (sp?) is really nice they are fully furnished.
