Looks to me to be just as many locals/regional fishermen in the top 15 as there are of your so called "real pro's"...Brent B., Jess S.,Mike M., Colin B.,Scott L.....these guys will be keeping plenty of pressure on your "real Pro's"...You may even see one of them holding that big trophy at the end of this "real Pro" tourney.. If not holding the trophy, many will be holding checks that are underwritten by the "real Pro's"..Good thing about fish, they can't tell the difference..

Maybe true, but there are just as many if not more local pros fishing than there are regular touring pros(usually the field is about 75-85%tourning pros) and you would think that all the locals have the advantage...Hence why there are so many. Why else would you play on your home water only if you didnt have an advantage? The full time guys are definetely showing why they are among the best in the game. Consistency pays a pretty good wage when there is no slot, but all it takes is one good bite, regardless of how consistent you are. Good luck to fellow pro Mark Martin in a free for all slot tourney! go get'um Mark!!

Give me a break the PWT and other tournaments have been on this body of water enough that the touring PRO's have a history on the system so I don't think the touring pro is going in blind.

Don't be too quick to rule out the locals today. My picks:

1. Brent Bietelspacher
2. Mark Martin
3. Aaron Deal

I expect a lot of movement in the next 20 spots or so.

Water temp in the Whitlocks area last weekend was in the 50 - 52 degree range. We had three days of high winds, but caught some nice fish.
