Chubby Darters at Uncle Milty's
For those of you in the Denver area who are interested, Uncle Milty's got in about 5 dozen Chubby Darters yesterday. They will probably go quickly.

If your finding it tough to locate Salmo Chubby Darters I have a good source to get kits for less then $6 per Chubby. A good price considering they often go for $7 at most stores.

I fish stained to cloudy water and would appreciate some suggestions on colors for the darters. I don't have a big budget to spend on tackle and want to get the right ones. thanks.

Go with the larger size Chubby (CD-6) or the (CD-5) in Hot Perch (HP) and/or Gold/Orange (GMO).
SALMO Chubby Darter Colour chart link. http://efishingnetwork.com/store/pro...ubby_chart.jpg They do a great job in murky to stained water, yet produce great in clear water. Pike & walleye go nuts after the GMO and the HP. I recommend you rig a 2' light steel or titanium leader with a light swivel at the top when you suspect them tooth critters are near, or they will eat your Chubby and run. ZIP...GONE!
