any of you Colorado guys going to the Rifle Gap tourney? Fished it yesterday for the first time and had a great time. Very nice perch, but allot of trashy trout kept sticking my hook through their lips, good thing I took my daughter the "perch queen", she outfished me 2-1! I hate it when that happens.

Need some more information please. When is it? What color, what bait and how deep? I'm a michigan boy. Love them perch, they are the best. Thanks.

the tourney is Feb 8,9, 3 catagorys, Rainbow &Brown Troutand Perch, 1st place $600 in each catagory, looks like fun. You really don't expect me to tell all the details for color, etc??????

Where are you living bigvic? Fish the deeper water for the bigger perch.

Loveland. So thats a overnighter for me. Have to think about it. YEAH RIGHT. For perch'n it's a no-brainer. There is nothing around here except Aurora but that is closed to boats and there is no fishable ice yet. See ya there.

he didn't say any thing about depth or location either. I'm curious also, never ice fished before. would really like to try it. i'm from texas. really good saltwater fishing around freeport. San louis pass area. shark, specs, reds, flounder, etc. I'm working in this area and love to fish. looking for the spot.
