Sorry! Talking Trout. I should have been specific. I just realized I'm on a walleye group.
There are a lot of big Walleye there, but most guys I know target the trout in winter. I never fished it in the summer for walleye so I don't know where to start. They got to be there thought. "rebs" pitch in. ><<<<<*> Looney Tunes

Jim is right the big walleye are in the river
best bet is the lower drifts and the canadian side of the bar some good baits are fin-s minnows in emerald ice color, live or imitation leeches use either one on a jig head crawlers on worm harness wioth small blades in nickle-copper color nickle on one side copper on the other with red beads best method is drifting, I don't know anyone who trolls in the river these are summer tactics, I fish rainbows, steelhead, browns and lakers in the winter months a friend of mine was drifting for walleye and caught a 52" muskie rebs
