What do you guys think about this decision/choice?
My LMS-350A is broken down and needs repair. Lowrance will repair the unit but you have to pay a flat rate of $250. Or you can upgrade to an LMS-240 for $325. An upgrade to an X-15 is $750, but that's a little out of the budget. They did not provide an option to upgrade to the new, LMS-320. Is the LMS-240 a good unit, even though its being phased out and replaced by new technology? |

The newest Lowrance unit is the LMS320 which sells for about $550 at Cabelas. The LMS 240 is a discontinued model I believe. Take a look at the Eagle FishElite 320. It sells for $449 in Bass Pro. Same unit as the LMS320 except for power. If you fish mainly under 100 ft it would be fine.
