What is the best fishing show?

Don Meisner's shown on PBS was called Rod and Reel Streamside. You're right, it was a good one. I believe that it was a spinoff of another PBS show (called Rod and Reel?) that focused on Lake Ontario. The host of that show was fairly obnoxious, while Meisner was pretty laid back.

Hey...they are all after work, and in fact Totally Hooked I think is only available in primetime;)

Outdoor World TV when Kavajecz, Maina or Parsons are on. They catch unbeleivable fish in our backyards. Word is that they may be working on their own show.

I have to say that Bob Izumi's Real fishing show seemed to be the "realest". The one show that almost every fish he caught was the kind that the show was not supposed to be about- it was just like home! Lindners' Angling Edge and In-Fisherman are great shows-Babe Winkelman's are good also. Except for "Bass Fisherman on Tour"-every other bass show is every other bass show-is every other bass show is every other bass show-etc,etc. I watched the MWC finals on the Outdoor Channel last night- I thought that it gave very little info on techniques and tactics-as compared to the In-Fisherman PWT coverage-I was very dissatisfied.

Since I work with Simply Fishing and Bob Mehisikomer I'm probably somewhat swayed, but I do truley like the show.
Also enjoy the Linders quite a bit, they set the bar pretty high.
