Default downriggers

Anybody know if Walker manual downriggers are any good? Cabelas has a great deal on the lake master combo. I was looking at Scotty but this seems like a better deal, comes with free rod. I`m soon to be new at downrigging. I have a 16ft boat and limited budget .so I don`t need anything grand just a good quality manual

I have Walker electrics that are from the 1970's and they still work like new. If thats any indication, I would say the manuals are a good bet.

My buddy has the manual Walkers and he is totally happy with them. You should be too! ;-)
