launch ramp in Lorain?

Thinking of trying some sandbar eyes tuesday. Thought i'd launch in Lorain if its any closer to the bar then Vermilion. Anyone have directions to a good ramp?

Vermillion River launch is about the same distance from the bar as Hotwaters, I think.


Hotwaters is a lot nicer ramp (twice as many lanes), in my opinion, plus it's free, whereas Vermillion River ramp is $6 to launch.

mike ,you should try the lorain ramp .behind the police dept ,nice ramps ,don;t have to worry about dropping the trailer off the end ,and there is great action on the east side of the bar at times .on your way to vermillion stop by and check it out .
