Most of the time, sturgeon are C&R. They are reportedly, very good to eat, but the fish in the photos are likely more than 40 years old. They are powerful fighters.

>Good table fare? >Other? > >Rick Yes, catch and release. Must have a special permit before fishing to keep one per year and then its got to be between 42" and 50". Some say they'er good smoked and others say BBQ'd. But they sure to put up a great fight even on musky rods with 30lb test. |
