Default OffShore Snapper Release ?

Put six of the OR-18 releases on my six boards back in April.Have used them on 8 trips so far when not using my big boards and 4 of the 6 are already letting the line slip through the release. Was wondering if I got some bad releases.I have the screw tightened down enough and the rubber pad looks worn.I have never used any type of braided line with these yet.Only have used 10lb Triline.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Try replacing the pads. They come in an 8 pack. See the link above.

what are you using for a rear clip? I have found if am using OR14s in the rear I would have the same problems at times. I put 16's on and it stopped it.

I am using 30/8 powerpro

I use snappers on the front releases and 0r-16's on the back, I have used these boards over 100 days/nights on the water and they are still perfect, I actualy just had to tighted one of the snappers for the first time, now it's back to normal.
