Erie Rebel, You might try to e-mail Wade in case he doesn't see your message. Try - sales@jollyannsales.com - A couple years ago, I bought a Lowrance x-15 from Wade. Great deal and Wade was very helpful. I think the Lowrance x-17mt units are on sale right now. I have seen some advertised in the mid $400 range with GPS. It isn't a color unit, but I have been very happy with mine. Good luck!

For a guy looking for a unit in that price range, those Eagle units are a fine choice. Also, Like Keith said, there are some great deals on the x-17 out there, but still running closer to the price of a five inch color. If the price gets too high on a black-n-white, I would go with color. Shoot me an email if I can help you. Thanks!

For the price, the Eagle 480 kicks butt. Very, very nice for not much $$. We use this and will until we go color, which might be this year.

Erie rebel,

If interested in a used 2006 Lowrance LMS 332, graph only no gps, give me a call. It works fine, but I'm going to a bigger screen.

Thanks guys for the come back.I hate to replace the old Eagle but started to notice fog behind the screen. With the old unit I knew exactly what I was seeing as far as the type of fish when I saw it there on the screen.Only time I would get messed up was when it was a bass instead of a crappie.THANX AGAIN!!!:thanks2:
