Has anyone tried this braid for pulling boards or dipseys? Got a deal at Dicks on two 300 yd. spools of 30#. $28.00 for both and a $10.00 rebate. Couldn't pass up the savings.

Gill,
I used Sufix 6/2 at the MWC tournament at Spring Valley, Illinois for jigging and it worked really well - at least for pre-fishing before "the Flood". It worked well during the flood, too, but the fish wouldn't test it during tournament hours. I have used it a little for casting cranks and found it to be a bit more noisy at the reel than Fireline. I would think it would be fine for trolling. Just set the drag loose enough to make up for the "no stretch" factor. Good Fishin'. Keith Walters (Nebraska) |

I have Suffix on a casting rod of mine. For casting cranks. I really like the line and after this season I'll be able to have a firm decision, but for right now, I think I like it even better than Power Pro. It'll probably become my go-to braid.
