Any get the story of a man posing as a hunter and killing 5 people somewhere. Caught just the end of it on the radio this morning and don't know the details.

Never mind I found it posted on the General Discussion board in the fishing department. I was going to move it but decided to leave it there for awhile.

I don't believe they had guns with them. From what I know they did not know he was shot on purpose and just ran to help him. Very sad.

Today's news said a 6th person died from wounds recieved during the shooting. Apparently this guy was hunting with a semi-auto with a 20 round clip. A sheriff's deputy said that the victims came across the guy in one of their stands and when he was asked to leave the property he opened fire. He then chased after them and hunted them down and kept shooting them until his clip was empty. The article also said only one person in the hunting party had a gun but they did not know if he returned fire. This will be fodder for the anti gun nuts.

The shooter was a Hmong Laotian from the Twin Cities and the locals have had lots of problems with the Hmong tresspassing because they do not understand the concept of private property.

The guy had a violent history.....he was arrested for waving a gun and threatening to kill his wife in 2001 but was not charged because his wife refused to cooperate. The police were called to his home for domestic violence twice this year. The scum bag was a wife beater before he became a cold blooded killer.
