Kashabowie Outposts Thank You

Fern, I wanted to say thank-you for the great hunt. Many moose were seen and herd and we left Canada with a smile. I also want to say thank-you for having us back with out any outfitter fee's. This was a very nice thing you did for us and I want to go on the record and say thank-you. I hope to be back as soon as I can save the money again. Were you bowhunting or rifle hunting? I hunt with Canoe Canada Outfitters in the same general area as Kashabowie. This was the first year since '97 that we came back with out any moose. Had an unreal amount of bulls work, just couldn't close the deal on any of them. We were there from Sept. 25th until Oct. 3rd. The cows were in heat by the 27th and were dragging bulls around like they were hooked on a leash. Great trip anyhow. I tell everyone that once you have hunted moose, you're hooked.

I friend of mine has hunted with Kashabowie in the past (a number of times) and has real good things to say about them.

I should have looked at the date you posted. That would have answered my question if you were bow or rifle hunting. What dates were you there and when did you have the most action? For us, the peak always seems to be around Sept.28th-29th.

we were there from the 22 of sept to oct 1 and we hunted with bows. Had a ball.

I hunted w/ a different outfitter...not a very good exseprence. could you drop me a line and let me know some more about yuor outfitter.
