I have a three yr. old brittany that is suddenly urinating in the house. I am building a deck and have to let him out another door than before. Is a change in routine enough to cause this? Have any of you had this problem? Thanks, Mike

I don't think the fact that he's going through a different door would make him start pissing in the house. It's possible that he has a bladder or urinary tract infection. I would get him in and have that checked out first. Is he doing it while your home or when your gone? If he's doing it while your gone, it could be seperation anxiety?? If he's a house dog, leave his porta kennel in "his" room, that way he has a "safe zone" to go to when he feels the need. Start with a vet check and go from there.
