Default Where is the propane weight usually marked on the tank?

I cant find the marking for how much my tank weights is it metric?

Is it the size like what is on a barbeque grill. those are refered to as a 20# tank. The stamp is on the handle part. The next size up is a 30#r

Its stamped on the top handle/valve guard on 20# tank and on the top side of the tank on 100# tanks. It is the weight of the tank when filled in pounds. It will say WCxx where xx is the weight.

Some of the older smaller tanks(8 or 9#)0 are marked on the edge of the lower rim or base that sits on the floor. Good fishin'
