Default 1825 Pro Guide horsepower

Lunds catalog say's 90 horsepower with standard tiller . I'm planning on getting the big tiller and wondering what max horsepower is with power steering.

The max is 90 HP I asked the same question as it looked to me. That if I had went with the power tiller that I could have went with say a 115. But Lund Told me NO it was 90 and only 90 HP.
Today with the Top on the boat and 2 people and 100 lbs of catfish. I could hit 36 MPh with my 90 E-Tec. Still going to have to go with a SS prop on mine. The 15" standard prop will let me get 5500 but also 2 much prop slip.

Same here...I thought that it was higher with power steering, the way Lund has it stated in the catalog is confusing. I really don't think you need much extra horsepower though, I consistantly hit 37 in mine by myself with my Yamaha F90...34-35 with a buddy and myself. These things scream....holeshot is unreal and top end is good too. I coulden't be happier with mine. I planned to post pics and a report, but the system will not let me log in....when I get this figured out I'll post back. Also, Pete....get the Titan, man....I have it on mine and it is the only way to go. One word: AWESOME.
take care,
Northerner

I requested my password to be sent to my E-mail
I received a temp password and then changed it some thing I will remember. Every thing works now.

I wish I was able to get there, But still not sure I need the Titan.. I ran 11 miles one way yesterday. And was like running a 25 hp motor..
But I think the First time I get up that way and can get one installed. I will sure put it on. Not for up and running. But more for backtrolling. That is when I think one would be perfect on my boat.
Come on down to Pickwick and we will get into some Fresh water stripers..
Or if its winter time. We can fish for Sauger. Wish we had the Walleye like you guys, But we only catch one or 2 per year.
I think its more that no one here knows how to fish for them. And I for one Plan on starting to learn everything I can about wallleye. There just may be a bunch of 10+ fish here and no one is catching them.
Care to show me how to fish for them?
Pete

I am with you. I think when I get the right prop on mine, It will be a great setup. Now I will say a 115 would have allowed more bow lift. But then again that may be a prop issue also.
Does yours lift the bow enough to not allow the V to throw water out the sides?
What hole is your motor mounted on ? And is that speed with empty livewells? And by GPS? I got my best Speed with the 17" prop and the motor mounted in the top hole. But was only getting 4700 RPMs. Thinking about dropping the motor back and trying the 17" again.

Gents,

I have this boat with a Yami F90 and did not like the performance. Tried a Yami SS prop and it helped a little. I put a Merc Vengeance 18p prop on and wow ! I now get just over 40 mph on gps with 2 people, gear, full of fuel and 2 full livewells. Good hole shot and good bow lift. I now love this boat.

Let's see if this works. Looks like I'm going to have to schedule a "work" trip to either Memphis or Little Rock, at least I'd be within shouting distance of you & Pickwick. Do you need to get all 3 state licenses (TN,MS,AL) when you run around there? You never know Bud, maybe someday we'll get to fish together.
