Default Winterizing Volva Penta 5.0

I was wondering if someone could give me some info on winterizing a 19' Campion w/ a 5.0 L Volvo Penta engine?
THis is my first inboard. I am use to the small o/b's. Thanks

If your read your service manual; it should outline all of the procedures.

Essentially drain all of the water you can, and if you can't drain the water; put RV antifreeze in those locations.

Drain and refill the lower unit.

Go through all of the battery connections; clean terminals and charge battery.

Grease up all grease zerks.

You can go to the volvo penta web site for further info; if you don't have the service manual.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to buy one of the universal service manuals which cover your engine. They give excellent blow by blow directions for all of these items as well as routine maintenance.
