There was a post in the last 60 days on lots of advise about new cameras. Do a search and I am sure it will pop up.

I have a Olympus SP 350, a really great camera. If you are thinking about Canon, do some checking. When I was looking, I found there was a class action lawsuit against them for defective cameras. Don't know if/how that was resolved.

What do you want to do with your camera? Are you looking for action shots, still shots, low light shots or anything else for that matter? Also, what is your targeted price range? The answers will help determine what cameras would be a good buy for you.

are you just wanting to take simple snapshot type photos or are you looking for a full featured camera that can take top end pictures and multiple lenses to cover a vast array of shooting possibilities?
