Default Champion boats

Anyone know much about the champion fishhunter. Planning on buying a new boat by next spring. Fished out of a Ranger 690 and 620 quite a bit and just wonder how the champion compares.

Default Fishunter

I have owned a Champion Fishunter for the last 8 years and it has been a wonderful boat. I have used it from Lake Superior to Pueble Resevoir in Colorado to Prince William Sound in Alaska. You will get no better of a boat than the Fishunter.
I have a 200 EFI Merc on mine and it is very fast, very dry, and very comfortable.
A must buy.

The new 186 Fishunters are a completely different hull than the old 190/194. 18'6" verses 19'4" I have the 190 and to me it's the finest all species boat ever made. Fishes like a walleye boat or a bass boat with the rear deck insert. Fast, 70mph gps with a Pro XS 225, smooth and dry. Never been in the new Fishunter, so I can't comment on them. Champions are known for their exceptional ride and handling.

I was very happy with my 194 fishhunter. I bought a 620 after Champion ditched the 194 Fishhunter line. I really wish they still made the hull with some minor tweaks, it would be an awesome rig even today. I have not been in the newer 186 model

I am sorry. I sent RKS a pm. I didn't want to hijack your thread and I had a question for him. I run a 98 Fishunter and think it is one of the best all around boats ever. I can bass fish on Saturday with my son and troll for walleye on Sunday. I don't know anything about the new models.
