My Lowrance 28c hd freezes up and shuts down. I have had the unit since May and it has be4en flawless. Lowrance suggests a soft reset. Has anyone elsehad a similar problem and does a reset work??

Also doubble check you voltage. My Battery was low and caused my electronic's battery to diable my Lowrance units.

The soft restart seemed to work..I will let the unit run for a while tonight after work. I did e-mail the lady at Lowrance that was referenced in an earlier thread and she did respond quickly and in a positive manner.

The reset did NOT work. The unit still freezes up and shuts down. I contacted Linda (got her name/e-mail off of this site) and she will send me a new one. Thanks for all of your help!!
