Lowrance Broadband Sounder-1 software upgrade

Just saw and upgraded my unit.

8/12/2008 it is now on the Update page , a little different how to install it. follow the directions and it worked flawlessly.

They say it Improved Shallow water performance. I will test it out in the next few weeks.

Have not had a chance to see the BB sounder in person yet. How do you like it?

I like it so far. Seams like we are going forward with digital over analog. Cant believe it's 2008 and all the units are not sonar digitally analyzed. Should be in the Head unit's 2009/2010.

Only can have 1 transducer filtered , but can share with many head units.

Just fixed a battery power issue and will have fall to test it now. Will report back. Had to install the Stealth1 DC , as these new electronic's sure demand lot's of battery capacity and higher the 11.5 amps.
