Default Warrior 1890BTX prop

New 1890BTX with 140 4stk Suzuki has 21P alum. prop is a dog out of the hole and over revs WOT. What prop? Hydrofoil?

I'll keep this to the top for you, Troy LaTour is excellent about answering these questions and he would be the answer guy. He'll need to know what year your motor is. The gear ratio changed from 2.38 to 2.59 in '07 or '08. That said here's what I've witnessed with 2.59 gears. It will spin both the 20 and 22 Suzuki 3 blade stainless. Speed low 40's. The 21 vengeance will run in the mid 40's. Hole shot of both is acceptable, 20 zuke was best. The big 'to do' these days is put trolling tabson the boat that double as planning tabs.

On the same boat with a grey motor, the powertech rxb4(4 blade) among other like it plane better, ride better in rough water, at the expense of top speed.

Bottom line, there's way too much performance to gain on that setup over that aluminum.....obviously....and lot's of opinions. Hopefully Troy will be along, he'll have other ideas and lot's of performance info.

p.s. I'm jealous of your motor, it's a gem

Focker thanks for the input. It's a 2008 Suzuki. I've got a 20P Suzuki prop ordered and picked-up a 300SE foil but will probably run the prop before I install the foil. Transuder location would probably interfere with the trolling tabs.
