Cool Which boat and motor combo?

1999 Warrior 2090 with a 1999 Evinrude 115 Ficht or a 2001 YarCraft 1895 storm with a 2001 125 Merc (2+2)? Both boats are tillers and the Warrior has the Pro tiller steering. I am concerned with the Ficht reputation but at least it is Direct Injected. The Merc is tried and true but old technology (carburated) Which combo would you choose?

Me personally, I'd go with the newer boat with the bigger outboard. I have a friend that has a 2+2, it runs flawlessly.

I won't voice a preference because mine would be based on a marine mechanic's evaluation of the two motors. Pick the one you like the best and have it checked out. You will then be in a position to make an informed decision.

Looks like I am going to have the Ficht checked out. I know the Merc is a bullet proof motor but I am not crazy about swinging a 125 around without some sort of power assist on the steering. Be sides I like the layout of the warrior better, more ****pit space.
