I am partial to 10 Fireline Crystal, I've tried flourocarbons and have severe twisting problems.

6 or 8 lb trilene tied direct unless fishing deep then its crystal fireline!

I'm in Rays boat on this one.

I use Power Pro all year around, soft and hard water.

The only mono I do use is Gama.
