I have one with a 2007 merc 75 hp 4 stroke and a 16p vengence ss prop. I get 39 mph out of it with a full tank of gas, 2 guys, and a lot of gear. This speed is by gps also.

I have a 2007 Explorer 1700. I'm running a 2008 75 HP Evinrude E-Tec, running a PowerTech 13.25 x 16 prop. Two people, gear and full fuel, 39 MPH GPS.

Do you still remember what speed were you doing with the AlumProp ? Did you go one pitch lower when you buy the SS? Trying to have a ball park what will the % gain will be if I go SS on my 1600 and a 90HP.

speed with alum prop was 36 mph and was a 17p, but hole shot was slow. With the ss my boat jumps out of the hole. Rpm was also 5800 with alum
