The perch bite remains good. You will still need to sort to get a mess of 8 to 10 incher`s . Deeper water seems to have the smaller perch...Better size in the 8 to 14 foot depth...Forage Minnow spoons with a dropper and tipped with whigglers or GULP minnow head are some ideas.. Fussy perch may take a BRO- BUG, packed with whigglers better? Spring bobbers can really make a difference on light biters. THE FISHING PROFESSOR

EYEBALL...Should be a good year especially on Big Spirit...Slot walleyes between 17 &22 inches must be released..Slot is in its 2nd year, will take four or five more years to see good results...I feel it was long overdue...WE do have lots of food in spottail shiners, and perch, so this could effect the bite...good luck, THE FISHING PROFESSOR
