Thanks for all the responses. I took by boat into the dealership, and it was fixed under warranty. When they checked out the lock on the leaking compartment, there was no seal on it. The compartment trim looked good. Our guess was that the previous owner replaced the latch, but not the seal on the lock. I might have to test it out with a hose like the prevous poster suggested, but it should be fixed now.
