Default Montana Gov. Cup

Just wanted to let everyone know that Montana Gov. Cup is still alive and well. Water in Fort Peck is coming up this year with 163% snow pack in the Missouri River drainage and fishing should be excellent with many fish exceeding the 10 lb mark every year.The biggest walleye in last years event was 14.03 lbs Activities for the tournament include:

July 9- Guys and Gals Derby-- 8am till noon $25.00 per couple
July 10- Rules meeting @ Kiwanis Park
July- 10-12- Fort Peck Summer Theater "Grease"
July 10- Fish fry, Calcutta, entertainment Kiwanis Park
July 10,11- Gov Cup Tournament
July- weigh in @ Kiwanis Park

Entry fee for the Gov. Cup is $400 per team with additional big fish pots available.

Default Rules Meeting

Diane, is the rules meeting the same day as tournament day 1 (july 10) as stated? If so, is it held prior to boat checks an put in?

Rules meeting is on Thursday, July 9th at 5 pm. Pre-fishing ends at 3 pm SHARP! Are you fishing it RDJ?

Just a thought at this point..Haven't done it before and not much to do in July. Waiting to decide on whether to go fish the Columbia that week or not.
