I like Dual Pro Chargers, I also think Minn Kota chargers are good. Get 1 bank for each battery in your boat and you will be in great shape. Get a bigger charger (ie. more amps) if you think you'll be drawing your batteries way down and needing to recharge them quickly, otherwise you can get a smaller charger with fewer amps.

It sounds like you're planning to power your bow fishfinder off your trolling motor battery? You should try to power it off your starting battery, if you power it off your trolling motor battery you're almost sure to get interference when using both at the same time.

I have a minnkota 330. This would be perfect for you. Hook each of the trolling batteries to and hook up the last one to the starting battery. I like this set-up cause my starting battery gets charged also. There's times I don't get out for awhile and this saves alot of headaches. I run all my electronics and lights on starting battery.(alot of night fishing). For winter I just plug in the charger and it keeps battery charged all winter.

Can't comment on others-only had minnkota.

Dual Pro's tech support is fantastic. i screwed up my installation and caused a short. It was completely my fault. Their tech support was great to work with. I have owned 2 Dual Pro Chargers on my Lunds and could not be happier. They have a great product. They are definately expensive- but have been well worth the money.

just a real quick question, do you plan to have the same batteries running the trolling motor run the graph. I've heard people have had some problems with that issue. interference from the motor to the fishfinder. I"d suggest running a separate battery for all your extra stuff. keep the trolling motor on its own.

as far as what type, the previous mentioned options are good. I just got the ProMariner Advanced Pro Tournament 100 10-Amp 2-Bank Charger. wil be installing tomorrow and hopefully charging that same night

Thumbs up

I've had "Guest" chargers on boats over the years.

Always worked great, last forever, reasonable price for the quality.

I have a Pro Mariner from Fleet Farm and have had no problems. Like Guest and Dual Pro their service and support for questions is great. Be sure you get whats called a potted charger is what I was told, that makes them 100%waterproof. I had a big, expensive problem with Minn Kota about 3 years ago as did a major fishing company/magazine publisher here in the Brainerd area. They took out all their Minn Kotas and GAVE them away.

Still using the Guest I installed 11 years ago. Lots of good stuff has come out since then but I would buy a Guest again based on my personal experience.
