Default How Many Watched AIM Event

What are the numbers of viewers for the AIM event? I haven't seen any press release regarding how many folks tuned in on the Internet.

Juls,

Have the AIM people shared any info with you?

No, they haven't, and I see no reason why they would need to share that info with me.

Default Okay

Geez, just interested in the traffic numbers.

Whenever a major television tournament like the Bassmaster Classic is on and they have good viewing numbers they announce it in a press release.

Just thought since I've read everywhere that the first AIM event was a big success we'd read about all of the folks who tuned in.

All my friends did at one point in time when they could fit it into their schedule. We might just have an AIM party on the final day of GB and hook the puter up the the big screen TV.

Sorry Sammy.I was up at 4 this morning to do coverage of the MWC here on Lake Erie, so I'm a bit tired. It's been my experience here, that the intentions of anonymous posters is usually to stir the pot. I'm guilty of thinking that was your intention this morning too. And, for that I sincerely apologize.

I watched part of the weigh-ins on day one and watched some of the "on water" video clips the other two days as well as the GPS tracking of the top five. Although they have some bugs to work through (which is to be expected with a completely new venue and technology) I like the interactive, real time approach.

Default Me Too

I enjoyed the coverage as well. I'm just interested in how many other folks were watching.

I'd hope the numbers were in the tens of thousands so the circuit can stay in business.

Funny you say that, I have talked to our local joint about running it on the flat screen during the weigh-in. Beer, white sox and AIM Pro Walleye series, sounds like a good plan.

The most that were logged in were 23 at any time one time. Walleye central had more by over 7X. Jules had posted this on another post.
Suprising? yes, why? The internet on a holiday?

The internet watching a weigh-in on a holiday?

WC really does have the best up to the minute coverage as well as solid insights (Juls) no matter when.

The numbers don't lie.

How can you say that? Where is the info from the AIM site? I don't see that on their site at all.

I think you're confusing another walleye site with AIM live feeds. Yes, while the other site is doing the tech stuff with the "Squirrels", they do not do the live feeds from their site.

As far as I know there isn't a way to see how many are online at AIM at any given time.
