Congratulations and THANKS to all 98 teams that fished the MWS Green Bay tournament.
The weather cooperated with light winds but cool temps. Several teams said they would have like a little more wind. The fish also cooperated with seventy nine teams weighing a four fish limit. There was a total of 342 fish caught weighing a total of 1299.28#. Only four teams did not weigh fish. Most of the success came on crawler harnesses. Colors varied for the teams.

The team of Jihn Clumpner and Scott Ristow took first place with four fish weighing 24.12# winning them $4,300. Second place went to the team of Steve Meyer and Jason Van Lanen with four fish totaling 23.12# for $2,200. Third place went to the team of John Schneider and Dave Schlise with four fish weighing 21.18# for $1,100. Fourth place went to the team of Tony Marcelle and Jeremy Goddard with four fish totaling 20.00# for $900. Fifth place went to the team of Jerry Zimmerman and Jim Phillips with four fish weighing 19.44# for $750.

Steve Meyer and Jason Van Lanen had the big fish of the tournament weighing 9.16# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, an asst. of Ka Boom, an asst. of Rapala Lures, and Dock-n-Stay and a Dock-n-Stay.

Current Team of the year is Steve Meyer and Jason Van Lanen. Scott DuFrane and Jesse DuFrane are current husband/wife team of the year. Current parent/child Team of the year is Tim Pizzi and Ryan Pizzi. Current Sibling Team of the Year is Ken Van Oss and Dave Van Oss.

The age limit is twelve and must fish with a parent or gaurdian.

Wow...the payouts...the organizers must keep half or more! Still got 98 boats though...must not bother too many people.

OPEN MOUTH INSERT FOOT, also free entry 25 team gauranteed payout championship for points qualifiers, awards banquet for qualifiers and guest ,and first three teams picked for NTC entry paid.

Smokin job by clumpner and teammate. What a great effort by a super great guy. I had the opportunity to fish with him one FLW league event, and I must say it was just great. Class act, knowledgeable and mellow. A true professional. nice job!
