I'm looking for opinions on the Hamby' guard. I have a Keel Shield on now but it ripped with contact w/ a concrete ramp. Keel shield was great and sent me a new one N/C . I don't want to install it because the 1st one ripped so easily. Plus it looks to be a real pain in the ### to remove old and apply the new one. I looked at Hamby's site but see no warranty info. Are they backed by company & dealer for installation? Thanks for any info..

You won't have a problem with the Hambys tearing. I would guess you get some kind of install warranty when done by a dealer. The dealer installed version is pretty heavy duty. The Hamby Lite that they sell to the public is the one you get when you order direct. Both are good products.

good product, but bulletproof, negative. Mine ripped at the bottom end, lost about a 3" section. Boat is an 2007 and it was installed at the factory. Any of them can rip!!
