Default Navionics mobile..anyone tried it yet on their iPhone?

To answer your question, I have. I work for Navionics and the mobile app is the same data that you see on your plotter, but on a much smaller screen (the iPhone screen). The Mobile app is not meant to replace any hand helds or on board plotters but it is meant to add to the useability of Navionics cartography and abilty to add way points when you are away from your boat and on board plotter, or are talking with a friend who has a hot spot you want to try. You can view the catrtography on you iPhone and place a waypoint, and then follow up the next time you are out on the favorite fishing spot.

If anyone would like to try it, send me an e-mail or PM and I will send you a free app. They cost only $5 to $10 bucks, but I have some free codes (a limited supply...first come first serve).

Send me your e-mail address in a PM here or e-mail me a lcarr at navionics dot com. I will have the office E-Mail you a code to redeem it on the App Store.

Like I said, it s a way cool app for a few bucks. Try it out and let me know what you think. Please keep in mind that we are updating this app just about every month, and have added a lot of feautres (waypoint, routes, tracks, lat-long coordinated pictures of where you are, etc) since introducing just the basic cartography in January. This app functions just like your plotter, except it is on your phone.

Larry, you're killing me buddy. I paid $50 bucks in December to be a beta tester... It's stinging again.
