Default Adjust Trim guage on Lund-F115???

My Tilt/Trim guage never had alot of swing. Needle started at 3/4 mark and swung to top of guage. Now for some reason needle moved up the guage and swings from the top(pinned) to about 1/8th of an inch past the top. I have to squint to see the needle move at all. Is there some way to adjust the guage to give me some reasonable swing? Or do I need to replace the guage?
Thanks dannyboy67

Mine's back on the motor and I'd assume yours is also. It's just a rheostat (think I spelled that wrong) and it's a trail and error adjustment. Back that right where it hinges for the tilt, think it took an allen wrench to loosen it a bit until it reads properly. Most likely that's all your problem is.

The trim sender is center on the engine on the front tilt tube. It is plastic and they do break. It is also easily adjusted. Here is a pic

Default new part

Thanks for the info and pictures guys. Located the part. The plastic ring is broke. Hoping the part is cheap. Wonder if a guy could use some king of hose clamp thing instead. Probobly looking for trouble by fooling around with those ideas. Guess I'm off to the dealer for new part.
Thanks again!!!
