I snell both hooks, then, after adding beads and blade, finish with a Surgeons Loop to a small swivel.

Hope that helps.

On a two hook harness I snell both hooks. Most of mine are about eight feet long with no beads or spinners and the end is not knotted until I decide what beads & blades to use. I decide what to put on the harness and cut it to the desired length when I use it. I do set a few up with my favorite beads and spinners before I wind them on my storage tube.

I snell the hooks and then use a Palomar on the barrell swivel (which I use, instead of a loop) on the front end.
