Default Trailer for Triton 205

Looking for a trailer for a Triton 205.

Ideally, a used (or new) Triton trailer would be great as it would fit/match. If not, I'd go with aftermarket/3rd party.

Trying to decide to replace completely or put in serious $$ and time to fix mine.

Location is NE Michigan. No trailers available at close local marine dealers.

Any thoughts or leads?

Thanks,
Bob

What is the problem with your trailer? I just went thru the decision of either upgrading my Tebben single axle or replacing it with a tandem. Was too light for my Crestliner 192 and the torsion arms were bent and I was getting blowouts. Upgrading my axle, wheels, tires, etc. was going to cost nearly as much as a new trailer. I went thru a few dealers offering me different brands before I went with a custom EZ Loader. Was difficult finding a dealer who knew what he was talking about. A couple guys didn't even know what GVWR is or what the load range was of the tires they were going to put on the trailer they wanted to sell me. Even the manufacturers were inconsistent. Shoreland'r (which provides trailers directly to Crestliner) wanted to put a 3500 lb. single axle under my boat, which is what I have now and clearly too light. If you have any concerns about your load I strongly suggest getting it weighed. I was shocked to learn my boat and trailer weighs over 4000 lbs. According to Crestliner that's not possible. Bottomline - when it comes to your trailer do all the research and homework yourself and don't rely on a dealer or manufacturer.
