Post Big Gull Lake

I am going fishing next week in Big Gull Lake, I have tried for weeks trying to get some information on topo's places to fish etc. with very little luck. Some of the guys I am going with have fished this lake but I am not to confident in their fishing ability or in finding fish. Can someone give me some idea's on were to find some eyes and smally's, what type of bait is being used and any artificials. Based on what is described in the lake that chartuse and orange color would work. Any help is much appreciated and I will post after we get back. Thanks
