Default Walleye books

I recently read a book called "In persuit of giant bass" by Bill Murphy. This was by far on of the best fishing books that I have read about fishing. It wasn't one of the books that go over the same ole general fishing info that seems to be the case with most books. It had some real eye opening observations from a guy that has spent some serious time on the water. I learned alot from reading this book.

My question is if anyone has a good recommendation for a walleye book that has really helped them and maybe even changed the way they fish or gave them a new perspective on how they fish?

I understand nothing beats time on the water but with the open water season coming to an end I like to do some reading to get me pumped up for the next season and maybe set some goals.

"How to win the Walleye Game" and "Walleye Trouble Shooting" both by Mike McClelland are very good reads. Then you could register here on WC and have access to the best hands on walleye info available anywhere. Might take a little time and patience looking...but its here.

I'll "second that" such great information available right here! I LOVE this site, I've learned so much by reading the articles (and the posts)

I just grabbed one titled "Walleye Wisdom".

It's published by In-Fisherman...and it looks like there's a ton of info stuffed into its 280 pages.

I'm going to go look for the two mentioned above.

In addition to 'Walleye Widsom', In-Fisherman also has the Walleye- Critical Concepts Series, consisting of 5 volumes(books) covering most everything pertaining to walleye fishing. A guy can't go wrong picking up this set for reading on walleye fishing.
