Default Puppy Name Ideas?

I contacted a breeder today and will be getting a Gordon Setter male in early April! Does anyone have any name ideas? I'm kinda thinking Jager because thats hunter in German. Maybe Berkley? If I was a Ranger boats guy, I could call him that, but here Yar-Craft doesn't roll off the tounge well and doen't make a good dog name.

A friend of mine found a puppy on the golf course. He figured the perfect name would be Boggie. His wife picked Lady. Guess what the dogs name it?

My last Lab was Muckwa (found out I spelled it wrong later) which is Chippewa for Black Bear and my buddy now is Koda which is Sioux for Friend.
Had a Sasquatch but he was named after a friends dog not the critter!

AD = Auggies dog
JD = just a dog

Watch his behavior for a couple weeks and he may almost name himself.

I'm with Jack in this regard.

We've always named our pets after we've had them for awhile and have had a chance to observed their behavior. That way you'll know if Jager is an appropriate name, or ____________ is better.

What about "mercury" or "merc" LOL

I always thought that ruger would be a cool name for a dog. But thats just me, I have a few ruger rifles and handguns
