I have an FL-18. The last couple times I used it, the zoom side didn't pick up my lure or fish. The other side seems fine. Any ideas?
Thanks. |

You are saying: If you use "normal" position it picks the jig up...but not when turned to "AZ"?
Are you set right? On "AZ", of course, you only see the bottom 6 feet only..on the left 1/2 of the screen. The whole water column on the right. Are you seeing a bottom reading at all when you click to zoom? Is your depth scale turned to a deep enough "X" power? So when you lift your jig...do you only see it on the right side of the screen and not on the left? Or not at all? Is it possible your jig is higher than 6 feet off bottom? Or... is your sensitiviy is set too low? If you read your jig at all...you should be able to dial it in, when you go to "az" --- and it is within 6' of bottom. |
