Lowrance electronics rebate

A couple weeks ago I seen a thread on rebates on purchases of Lowrance electronics. It was like $150 for and HDS 7 and $250 for HDS 8. How do these rebates work? Thanks

Quick answer (without following any links):

It's a rebate "letter". Essentially you have to have one of the select units shown in the list (follow the link provided by Juls) that Lowrance doesn't service any longer but is still somewhat of a "current" unit.

No unit on the list, no rebate.

So from what I understand I call Lawrance and they will send me a rebate letter towards a purchase of a HDS. The letter then can be used to purchase a new HDS unit at an authorized dealer. Thus saving me $150 towards a new HDS 7?

Called Lowrance only took me 10 minute to get to customer service. got a Rebate letter. Not Bad. I think things might be getting better their.
