Default New Toy

I picked up my new toy here about a couple weeks ago. Figured I would finally post a few pics. It got a little dirty on the ride home due to the lovely weather here in Northern Minnesota although I am glad I got it out of Fargo or it might have floated away in the next couple weeks.

Anybody have any idea how you would mount downriggers on this baby? I still have to mount the HDS units.

EyeBoom's picture album ( http://www.walleyecentral.com/forums...hp?albumid=294 ) has the answer to that question.

They are called Bert's Bases. That is what I'm putting in my boat.

Awesome looking boat.

Nice boat!! The only thing bad about the explores is that they don't make the gunnels wide enough to really mount any thing to.

I believe that new of a boat has the sport track. If so Lund has a downrigger bracket. Look at page 9 it shows a boat with riggers. http://www.lundboats.com/Showroom/20..._sportsman.pdf

Congratulations on the new addition, very nice!!

As for mounting downriggers, if you have the angled Lund Sport Trak like I think you've got I would recommend the Traxtech system as they have a mounting system specifically for your Sport Trak -

Here's check it out -

http://www.traxstech.com/store/t_bolt_mounting.htm

Then they have all the other accessories to go along with. And yes, both the Berts Track system accessories and the Traxtech accessories are interchangeable meaning the they'll one in each others systems.

Hope this helps.

Any questions just ask.

Cheers,
