Is there very much difference between the two?

In my opinion yes. Where do you fish? If you fish big water go with the 621. If your garage will fit the 620, and you fish normal size bodies of water then the 620 will be fine.

I think the hulls are differant. the 620 hull was changed a couple times i don't remember what years. The beam is wider on the 620 also.

Lots of difference. If you got room I'd get the 621. If you troll at all get the 621. The 620 series changed in '08 and it is a much better hull and layout. The 06, 07 and some early 08 620s had the sleeker hull which they had some complaints with because the bow sat lower in the water off of plane and got some water over the nose in certain conditions. Although the hull design on the 06-08 620 was similiar to the 621, the 621 did not have the sam problems due to its extra length and the way it sat in the water. If you want the ultimate rig hold off and get the 2010 621. That hull and layout were also changed to be similiar to the new 620 hull. Quite a rig. Good luck.

Seeing your looking at these two rigs I assume your looking for a solid used affordable rig. Go 621 out of the choices you have presented us with. I had an 03 621 and now have a 08 great boat no complaints. If you have any specific questions about the 621 let me know, I know them inside and out very well.

You can't go wrong with either model, so it comes down to how much room you have to store it, what's on the back of each, and what they are rigged with, in my opinion. Juls

I've got an 06' and love it[620].Never had a prob with water over the bow and can run w/the 621s all day long.Have got caught in some rough stuff on green bay,as that can happen, always felt safe.Knowing your abilities and practicing safe boating are allways better than adding 6'' to a foot in leghth in your hull.
